This year, the manager
of a contemporary company built a new factory.
With the present ecenomic situation, I do believe
that decision must have been made with a lot
of courage. The other day, during a party was
held with close friends to commemorate the
new building. At this party the manager said
jokingly;
"
Oh, no... I did it again"
Incidentaly his speach in an uneasy tone
was only at that moment. After that, he spoke
happilly and explained to us his obsessiveness
regarding color and the building layout.
Building a factory requires a lot of money
and a very large part of it is borrowed.
At this time when the economic future is
hard to predict, that uneasiness must be
difficult to describe. On the other hand,
with a bigger factory more than the uneasiness
comes greater expectation of increased customers,
increased employees and a dream of better
things to come.
On a daily basis, we construct steel frames
for factories, shops, warehouses, living
homes, and other buildings. On the other
side of our work there are people with ambition
like the manager above. Other than special
persons, a normal person can only build a
house once or at most twice in a lifetime.
For the customer building a house, that moment
is very special.
Don't you think it is self-respecting work?
Don't you feel like helping to realize that
dream? In order to be able to return the
feelings,we too need simillar strong ambition.
